Shearer aims for finish at this years KDM Hire Cookstown 100

Despite a spill when in the leading group of the 600 B race last year, Dougie Shearer cannot wait to get back to the KDM Hire Cookstown 100.

After my unfortunate spill,I was overwhelmed by the hospitality shown by the Irish fans!,

Earlier in the day , on his KDM Hire Cookstown 100 debut, Dougie had finished 6th in the 600 B race .

Looking ahead to this years event, I ma coming back with my 600 and also riding one of Billy McKinstrys supertwins, Thanks to two enthuastic Cookstown lads, Drew Patrick and Richard Knipe .Last weekend at Tandragee, Dougie had his fair share of problems during practice, but on race day recovered well to take 4th in the 750 support race.

These tow guys have really being influential in my return to Ireland to race! Their support and encouragement is fantastic, and This I really appreciate.

Big shout to my sponsors, ,My Mum, Rosie Ferrari,72 Club, and not forgetting Lesley Antrobus (White Knuckle Images)
