Gav returns to KDM Hire Cookstown 100

Making a return to the KDM Hire Cookstown 100 is Manx Based rider Gavin Brown.
As always, at this time of the year, riders are busy getting their bike readied for the season ahead, I managed t track down this busy man, and this is what Gavin had to say;
“After having taken a year away from the Irish roads last year due to moving to the Isle of Man . I am really looking forward to coming back this year . It will be my 3rd visit to the KDM Hire Cookstown 100 . A circuit I really enjoy ,theres always a good vibe around the meeting , and being the first Irish road of the season it's a great meeting to kick the season off . I've spent the last few seasons campaigning 400's . A great class that I really enjoy on both the Irish and Manx roads . But I have moved with the times a bit and I'm currently building a Kawasaki supertwin for this year, this all possible, Thanks to my good friends/sponsors Ken and Sue Faragher I am really looking forward to getting on the twin, it's a complete new class to me. I have raced against them on my 400 but have never actually turned a wheel on one myself. So I can't wait to get stuck in. I have decided to sit out the Manx GP this year, so I can fully concentrate on commiting myself to a season in Ireland, something I have been unable to do before .
This year hopefully we can have a good go at the junior support championship . And also hopefully climb the supertwin class ranks along the way. But will see how that goes. The support race has always been a bit jinxed for me with breakdowns and one thing or another . So fingers crossed this year our luck will change. I don't have any big expectations for this year,I'm still learning . I just want to push as hard as I can make sure I see that chequered flag at the end . And what will be will be . Big thanks to "The Faraghers" Metalco Engineering, Port Hair in, GB Racing,Vinyl mark signs, SB Tuning, My Team and everyone else who helps out along the way, where would I be without them??
